True IP Based VoIP Phone Systems

Like any other ordinary telephone, the voip phone systems are built with protocols that enable it to transport voice using data packets instead of circuit-switched connections over voice-only networks. This line is plugged into the Ethernet port or the USB port of the computer.
With laptops and other WiMAX and WiFi application gaining ground wireless internet phone is also being offered. The voip phone uses Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) or Media Gateway Control Protocol (MeGaCo) to establish a call. Soft Phones

What is the need for a wireless internet phones and satellite internet phones? This is because mobile operators especially those who have the third generation of mobiles which are more like laptops based 3G/Wi-Fi service. VoIP is being offered to these customers providing voice and data under one service for both their handset and laptop. Microsoft, Nokia, and Skype have announced mobile phone-based VoIP products. These cell phone internet services will change the way cells are used. Already mobiles are being used for internet emails and picture messages. SMS and MMS may soon fade away giving rise to video phone calls or video chats.
